Skin Like Rissa's

"It's like Karma," said Gwendolyn DiFerdinando, licensed Aesthetician and owner of Skin Like Rissa's.  "If you feel good about yourself, you're good to others."  

When the salon opened in February of 2008, DiFerdinando had already been in the skin care business for over seven years.  "I became intensely passionate about natural skin care when I had children," she said.  "I was much more aware of what I put on my body and wanted others to be aware as well."

DiFerdinando's goal is to better educate her clientele about the products they use on their skin.  She hopes to reach out especially to parents by introducing them to safer more healthy options for their children.  "I carry the safest sunscreens you can put on your children's bodies," said DiFerdinando.  "I want parents to be aware of the choices that are available to them."

DiFerdinando offers a selection of 100% natural products to her clients and is very concerned that these products be affordable.  "We're in a time economically where everything that we spend our money on becomes an important purchase," said DiFerdinando.  "When my clients buy from me, I know they are purchasing products that are truly worth their value."

The product line DiFerdinando uses and recommends to clients is the Cosmedix skin care and make up line.  In her years in the industry she has seen these products dramatically transform dry or acne prone skin, making it smooth healthy.

"I pride myself in offering the safest best thing for clients to use to feel better," said DiFerdinando.  "We all care about what we look like.  Don't we?"
